How to form the letter I

Uppercase I: draw a vertical line from top to bottom, then add a short horizontal line at the top and another at the bottom — like a capital I-beam. Lowercase i: draw a short vertical line from the mid-line to the baseline, then add a dot above the line. The dot is often the trickiest part — remind children not to forget it.
